Press release 01/2023 – New image movie from BESSEY Tool:
“Inside the mind of a world leader”
BESSEY Tool proudly presents …
… the first image movie in its company history. "Inside the mind of a world leader" is the title – and the content does justice to it in every respect. The look behind the scenes shows the most diverse facets of the clamping and cutting tool manufacturer: Who is behind the company? What makes the BESSEY brand so fascinating? What philosophies do the management and employees follow – and how is the future actively shaped here? The movie conveys all this and other information with impressive images and authentic statements.
As an international active and innovation-driven company with a long tradition, BESSEY is equally interesting for customers, partners and the public. "We have been asked time and again by sales partners: don't you have a movie that we can use to present your company to interested parties?" says Carsten Spang, Managing Director of the BESSEY Group. "Many of our employees have also wished that they could present BESSEY to their relatives and acquaintances. We have taken up these wishes and, I believe, fulfilled them convincingly."
Emotional, authentic and unmistakable ...
... these are the maxims under which the movie was realized together with a professional team in about eight months of planning, filming, editing and sound recording. "It was particularly important for us to focus on the people who are committed to the success of the BESSEY brand every day," emphasizes Spang. "From a technical point of view, in addition to the "Tool" division, we also show the "Precision Steel" division. Here, it becomes clear what work and expertise goes into the rail – the backbone of our clamps."
Around the globe the movie is presented
"The movie will be available on our website www.bessey.de and YouTube channel in German and English," explains Eva Albert, Head of Marketing at BESSEY Tool. The staff was the first to get to see the image movie and was completely enthusiastic. "We are very pleased about this, as it shows that we have managed to convey both technical information and emotion and the special BESSEY spirit through this medium," says Albert. "From our roots and future plans to our international orientation and social and sustainable commitment to what makes us tick – here it can be experienced "simply better"."

Press Release 04/2022 – New from BESSEY: Horizontal fixture clamp WNS‑SET‑MFT
Nothing will ever lift off here again!
Clamping tools are indispensable when working on multifunction tables. The BESSEY range also includes specialists such as toggle clamp sets, lightweight clamping elements with lever handle and all-steel table clamps. Now, new to the range is the innovative horizontal fixture clamp WNS-SET-MFT, another useful helper has been added.
Horizontal fixture clamps are attached on the side of the workpiece. The advantage of this is that tool parts don’t interfere by leaning into the work area. Furthermore, the clamping lever’s position on the side of the clamp provides even more freedom and the workpiece can be applied instantly. The special feature on the new model from BESSEY is its patent-pending pull-down mechanism: It guarantees that the workpiece doesn’t lift up when it is clamped and lays flat on the table surface, which is difficult to do with conventional systems. When using the new WNS-SET-MFT, the workpiece sits more firmly on the table than with standard systems, lies perfectly flat and can thus be machined with precision.
BESSEY’s innovative fixture clamp is also able to fasten the workpiece flat in place with a clamping force of up to 750 N without the use of a fastening screw that would normally be required. It only needs to be used if the holes provided for positioning are worn and the clamp being used has clearance.
The WNS-SET-MFT fits all standard multifunction tables 19 mm thick or more and with hole diameter of 20 mm – such as the Festool MFT or Sortimo WorkMo. It also clamps reliably on systainers with wood inserts and 20 mm punch holes. The bench dog included with the system can also be used as universal limit stops for workpieces. BESSEY offers them separately in sets of 4 under the product number BH-MFT.

Press Release 03/2022 – New from BESSEY: Erdi Multi‑purpose cutter D52‑2
New all-rounder among multi-purpose cutters
If you’re looking for a multi-use snip which can cut a wide variety of materials, you’ve come to just the right place at BESSEY. The Erdi cutting tools range now offers another attraction in addition to the popular multi-purpose cutters from the D47, D48, D48A and D49 series: the sturdy D52-2 multi-purpose cutters. Previously introduced to the market as a limited-time promotional item, it enjoyed great popularity and was added to BESSEY’s range permanently as a result.
Professionals and DIYers alike value BESSEY’s new multi-purpose cutters, and with good reason. Initially only intended as a support tool in the Erdi range, the D52-2 has proven to be a true bestseller. The cutters are extremely versatile with an exceedingly robust construction.
The 260-mm D52-2 has straight cutters that allow a cutting length of 53 mm. It cuts through soft materials such as cardboard, fabric and paper effortlessly and can even make cuts in cold-rolled steel up to 0.6 mm thick. The interlocking hardened cutter prevents slipping off while working, and the proven ERGO handle – in its characteristic red/black design – makes for an easy grip and comfortable feel when handled. The cutter and handle for the new D52-2 are forged in one single piece, which gives it its extra stability. Its blades have been sandblasted to protect against corrosion and surface-treated. This makes the cutters ideally equipped for use outdoors in poor adverse weather conditions.
BESSEY has packaged the new multi-purpose cutters in point of sale packaging. Ten units are already pre-packaged in a compact sales display. An attractive presentation will have the D52-2 flying off the shelves.

Press Release 02/2022 – New from BESSEY:
Accessories for telescopic drywall supports of the ST and STE series
BESSEY expands its range of telescopic drywall supports
The GS-certified ST and STE telescopic drywall supports from BESSEY show what they’re capable of with additional accessories: reliable stability, easy handling and even more applications. Now the multi‑function fixture STE‑LH and wider support plate STE‑SP35 are being joined by three additional practical accessories.
The three-winged shape of the ceiling tripod STE-DS makes the support area considerably larger and also ensures that the force is evenly distributed. As is typical of BESSEY, it can be mounted quickly and without an extra tool. The wrap-around stabiliser on the steel tube keeps it secure to prevent the contact surface from accidentally tipping.
The STE-BS construction tripod provides an absolutely safe stand: In contrast to conventional construction tripods, whose load creates a rather floating stand due to their design, the ingenious design of BESSEY's own development causes the force of the tensioned telescopic drywall support to act downwards at points. This ensures a secure stand and even allows the use of telescopic drywall supports on stairs as well as freely in the room, i.e. without upper tension. The combination of support and tripod results in a tip-proof tripod that can be quickly repositioned. The materials used to build the construction tripod, such as aluminium and glass fibre-reinforced plastic, make the BESSEY construction tripod lightweight yet sturdy. Assembly is fast and requires no tools other than your hands; set-up is practically self-explanatory.
The hard-wearing combi-bag STE-BAG with four spacious outer pockets offers space for two BESSEY supports from the STE and ST series as well as smaller accessories. The combi-bag makes transportation convenient with its padded shoulder strap and the long zip makes it easy to stow the supports. The length of the bag can easily be adapted to the supports transported in it.

Press Release 01/2022 – New from BESSEY: Ratchet clamp XCR
A successful product in North America – now available here
For some time now, BESSEY has offered its ratchet clamp to the North American market, where it enjoys great popularity. BESSEY has relied on this to make its successful ratchet clamp XCR design available in Germany and other countries around the world as well.
The XCR ratchet clamp from BESSEY is well-regarded among craftsmen for good reason; it combines the best characteristics of force, technology that’s gentle on the workpiece and is easy to use.
The XCR is perfectly designed to fix workpieces in place quickly, with a shape that enables overlapping clamping. The BESSEY ratchet clamp provides up to 25 kg of clamping force. The XCR is comfortable and convenient to use with its 2-component plastic handle. The handle has an ergonomic shape and can easily be operated with one hand. The robust ratchet mechanism ensures fast and controlled clamping, adapted to suit the nature of the workpiece. The swivelling pressure plates can be adjusted flexibly to fit the workpiece surface. This makes it possible to clamp even round and angular workpieces securely. Nothing can slip out of place, and the workpiece is held firmly in position until the ratchet clamp is reopened by pressing the release lever. Thanks to the ability to adjust the clamping force to the workpiece, there are no imprints or blemishes, and no marks from the jaws. This saves time and effort.
BESSEY has already pre-packaged the ratchet clamp in retail packaging for the trade – the XCR2 packaging unit contains 6 pieces and the XCR4 contains 4 pieces.

Press Release 05/2020 – New in the BESSEY product range:
Clever accessories for telescopic drywall supports of the STE and ST series
The telescopic drywall supports from BESSEY simply have what it takes. Besides the fixation of a wide variety of building materials, they can also be used for room partitioning, as simple burglary protection, for affixing cat nets and even for the construction of winter gardens or carports … and much more … using the new accessories.
BESSEY satisfies every requirement with its telescopic drywall supports ST and STE. Available in three sizes, the ST version already offers clamping options from 75 cm to 2.90 m and, at maximum extension length, can be loaded up to 60 kg.
If you want it to be more powerful, more convenient and even higher, then BESSEY offers the perfect solution with the new STE version. This proprietary development – available in three sizes – is the most powerful model on the market. The load limit is up to 200 kg at maximum vertical extension length and even up to 350 kg when the telescopic rod is fully retracted. The extremely sturdy steel construction and practical features allow fixation work at heights from 1.45 m up to even 3.70 m. As the pump mecha-nism and quick-release button are an integral part of the ergonomically shaped handle, the support can be adjusted to the exact requirements in a few simple steps – even with one hand – and released again safely.
The infinitely variable swivel range for both the ST and the new STE ranges from -45° to +45°. Thanks to non-slip PVC contact surfaces, this means it can be used safely even on inclines.
Practical accessories
If wider support surfaces are required to fix the construction materials, the new support plate STE-SP35 makes this possible. The lightweight aluminium profile with anti-skid cellular rubber can be securely fixed to the contact area of the telescopic drywall support with four star grip screws, thus improving pressure distribution.
If, for example, lasers, cameras or construction lights are to be mounted, the new fixture STE-LH with ¼ inch threaded adapter offers an optimum solution. The L-swivel mount has two axes of rotation – 360° next to the fixing clamp and 180° on the threaded adapter – and can be mounted without tools on round (0-45 mm) and square (0-55 mm) support parts.

Press Release 04/2020 – New from BESSEY from August 2020:
Telescopic drywall support STE with pump grip
Stable, resilient, one-handed applicable: These are the features of the new, high-quality telescopic drywall support of the STE series. This in-house development from BESSEY also saves time and money thanks to its integrated pump mechanism and quick-release button.
Strong performance
This new product from BESSEY, available in three sizes, extends the range of telescopic drywall supports to include the most powerful version to date in a competitive comparison. Its load limit is up to 200 kg at maximum vertical extension length and even up to 350 kg when the telescopic rod is fully retracted. The extremely stable steel construction and practical features allow perfect fixing work even at heights of up to 3.70 m. From plaster carton, wooden planks and battens to panels, metal bars, foils and lamp bodies, the range of applications is extensive, even if you need to fix safely with one hand.
Easy to handle
Unnecessary extra expenses for accessories? An additional work step for assembly? Not with the STE telescopic drywall support from BESSEY! The pump mechanism and quick-release shift button for extending and retracting the telescopic rod are already an integral part of the ergonomically shaped handle. This means that the support can be adjusted exactly to the requirements in just a few steps and can be safely released again.
Whoever uses the powerful STE will also be pleased that it is very easy to fix it in place: In order to pre-set the telescopic drywall support press the quick-release shift button and extend the inner pipe to the desired length. Fine adjustment takes place by pressing the pump lever until the contact surface of the support lies against the workpiece. Then simply turn the handle clockwise until the desired holding force is reached. It is just as easy to undo: First turn it anti-clockwise, then press the quick-release shift button to retract the inner pipe.
The STE telescopic drywall support is available in three sizes: The STE250 with 145 to 250 cm adjusting range, the STE300 with 170 to 300 cm adjusting range and the STE370 with 207 to 370 cm adjusting range. Depending on the size, this costs between 42 EUR and 49 EUR (MSRP excl. VAT).

Press Release 03/2020 – New from BESSEY: All-steel screw clamp GZ with swivel handle
BESSEY is expanding its extensive range of all-steel screw clamps with an exciting alternative. The new clamp with swivel handle is particularly impressive due to its ergonomic handling and rapid power build-up.
Powerful, fast and comfortable
For example, the new all-steel screw clamp GZ-KG has a special 2-component plastic handle that offers further benefits in addition to ergonomic comfort. It can be swiveled by 90°, which provides additional leverage when tightening – and therefore less effort for the user. In addition, the handle can be turned 360° when swiveled. This means that the user can continue to tighten in any situation during the clamping process, as is the case with other competitor models. In addition, clamping forces of up to 5,000 N can be achieved much faster. The well thought-out BESSEY innovation is also an advantage when the clamping process is tight. This is because the disturbing 2-component plastic handle can be simply swiveled away in places that are difficult to access.
In proven BESSEY all-steel quality
The other components of the new GZ version also stand out with the usual high BESSEY quality: Original BESSEY all-steel screw clamps offer high stability and flexibility at low weight. The fixed clamp forged from a single piece with moulded pressure plate is hardened and galvanised. This allows the special resilient property of the all-steel screw clamp to be achieved. The benefits: For one, this allows the pressure to be perfectly matched to the requirements of the workpiece. On the other hand, all-steel screw clamps are less sensitive to vibrations, because they can be partially absorbed. The clamps therefore do not need to be retightened so quickly. As with all other original BESSEY all-steel screw clamps, the pressure plate can be changed without tools.
The new all-steel screw clamp with swivel handle is available in 5 variants with opening widths between 250 and 600 mm, each with 120 mm throat depth.

Press Release 02/2020 – New from BESSEY: One-handed table clamp set EZR15-6SET
This will elicit a surprised “wow” from many users: The new EZR not only extends the BESSEY range of high quality table clamps with a one-handed version. Besides its actual purpose, it has many other possible uses on top of that.
One clamp, dozens of possibilities
The EZR one-handed table clamp has a special guide on the upper part for grooves 12 x 6.5 mm to 12 x 8 mm and a special adapter on the lower part. Equipped this way, it securely fixes guide rails of various brands with up to 750 N clamping force. The clamp is also suitable for clamping in profiles and on work tables. Thanks to the many tool-free options for changing the upper part and adapter, there are always new applications for the clamp: for normal clamping or spreading as well as for step-over fixing work when the adapter is pushed onto the upper or lower part.
Comfortable and durable
The EZR enables both ergonomic and safe handling. Its high quality 2-component plastic handle with pump lever behind the rail ensures a secure grip from both directions. Thanks to the release lever positioned in the handle, the sliding arm can be quickly adjusted and the clamp removed when the work is complete. Equally “handy”: A crossed v-groove integrated in the plastic protective caps for securely fixing round, pointed and angular components.
BESSEY also makes no compromises in terms of robustness with the new one-handed table clamp. This is once again made possible by the focus on quality, coupled with a high level of practical know-how. Upper and lower parts made of glass fibre reinforced polyamide combine with a profiled rail made of tempered and burnished steel to form a one-handed clamp that is as practical as it is durable. Additionally the plastic housing also protects the handle mechanism from dust and splintering.

Press Release 01/2020 – New from BESSEY: One-handed clamp EZ series
The high-quality one-handed clamps from BESSEY are now available with an additional option: In addition to EHZ, EZS and DUO, craftsmen can choose from four sizes and a total of ten variants within the new EZ series for a wide range of applications. This gives professionals and DIY enthusiasts even more choice to find their ideal tool when their second hand is to be kept free.
Large selection
The new EZ series of one-handed clamps from BESSEY offers users an impressively wide range. It comprises of four sizes S, M, L and XL with a total of ten variants that can both clamp and spread. With opening widths from 110 mm to 900 mm, spreading widths from 80 mm to 1,090 mm and clamping forces from 200 to 2,700 N, the EZ series covers an enormous range of applications. Whether light handicraft work or heavy gluing work has to be accomplished overhead work is pending or a hand is needed to align the workpiece – with the EZ clamps this is possible without any problems.
Practical convenience
Ergonomics and practical comfort were also in the focus of the development of the new one-hand clamps series: The high quality 2-component plastic handle with pump lever behind the rail allows safe access from both directions. And thanks to the release lever integrated in the handle, the sliding arm can be quickly adjusted and the clamp released. With the three larger versions M, L and XL, the upper part can even be changed from clamping to spreading without the need for tools – the pushbutton release mechanism makes this possible. The large, soft protective caps also protect sensitive surfaces. A crossed v-groove is also integrated into the caps for secure fixing of round, pointed and angular parts.
Robust design
Modern aesthetics meets longevity: For the new EZ series, high-quality materials such as glass fibre-reinforced polyamide for the upper and lower part and tempered and burnished steel for the profiled rail were used. The plastic housing also protects the handle mechanism from dust and splintering.
Please note that the smallest version with 110 mm opening width and 40 mm throat depth is sold as a set of 2.
