Malleable cast iron screw clamps

Malleable cast iron screw clamps
Malleable cast iron clamps have cast clamping brackets that are tempered. In the case of cast iron, tempering refers to long-term annealing at temperatures between 700 °C and 1050 °C to improve the mechanical properties (strength, toughness). The result is malleable cast iron. This makes the clamp unyielding and ideal for applications that require powerful and rigid clamping, e.g. when gluing solid wood. A few turns of the spindle allow the clamping force to be built up quickly. The user immediately feels the resistance and therefore knows exactly how much more the clamp needs to be tightened to ensure that it is firmly seated. BESSEY offers an extremely wide range of malleable cast iron clamps. These include the unrivaled classic since 1936: the original malleable cast iron TG screw clamp with shaft-reinforced clamping arms, unique hollow profile rail made of BESSEY quality steel and integrated anti-slip protection for maximum safety.
